Only 40 years old, this British singer fell in love with the voice of Al Jolson when only four years old! Starting his singing career while serving in the British Army, Gary's powerful voice developed while singing outdoors, with the need to be heard over distracting environmental sounds. His first performances were tributes to singers such as Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra; after maturation, his voice allowed him to mount a tribute to the singer he first loved: Al Jolson. Always including a segment of Jolson songs in his act, Gary feels that he has done much to preserve the memory of the World's Greatest Entertainer, and seeks to share his admiration of Jolson with Jolson fans the world over.
