Shirley Temple and Robert Young in Stowaway The hottest little actress in Hollywood in the 1930s was child star Shirley Temple. With her dimpled face, curls, and cute demenor, it wasn't long before the nation went crazy for her. In the 1936 movie Stowaway, Shirley plays a tyke lost in Shanghai, who befriends Robert Young and works her way into a family. At a talent show, Shirley steals the picture with a number where she imitates Al Jolson, Eddie Cantor, and Fred Astaire with Ginger Rogers. Enjoy this clip of Shirley's performance.
