We were all deeply saddened at the passing of Dolores Kontowicz, the founder of the International Al Jolson Society, on June 11, 2010. We were thrilled that she could be with us at the 2010 Milwaukee Jolson Festival, and her memory will stay with us always. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her wonderful family, that they may be comforted in their time of grief.
